I´m Firmino Almeida Fernandes, but most people know me as Mino Fernandes.

I was born in the city of São Paulo in 1959. My academic journey led me to graduate in Architecture and Urbanism, and it was during my time in this university setting that I first ventured into the world of painting. Initially, my focus was on the landscape aspects of architectural projects.

However, my most significant artistic breakthroughs occurred during the 2020 pandemic when the period of confinement served as a catalyst for an intense burst of creativity in my painting.
